ROBERT T. GOTTCENTRAL CITY, KY., — Robert T. Gott Sr., 86, of Central City passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at the Greenville Nursing and Rehabilitation in Greenville, KY. He was born March 16, 1934 in Cleaton, KY. He was baptized and became a member of the Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. He worked as a Sawmill Operator at Associated Pallet in South Carrollton, KY for many years. He loved UK Basketball and liked hunting when he was younger.

His wife Emma Lee Robinson Gott, parents Eva Mae Stepps Gott and Albert Gott, Sr., 4 brothers James Gott, Herman Gott, Manuel Gott and Albert Gott, Jr., 2 sisters Helen Kennerly and Lottie Mae Davis all preceded him in death.    

Survivors include 2 sons Robert T. (Whitney) Gott, Jr. of Central City and Jeffrey Robinson of Central City, 8 daughters Bishop Jennifer (Eni) Carney of Central City, Kimberly Diane Gott of Greenville, Elizabeth (Carlos) Hampton of Central City, Linda (Phillip) Brooks of Central City, Lisa Gott of Central City, Robin Denise Gott of Central City, Ann Summers of Central City, and Martha (Vondarvin) Fuller of Chicago, IL., 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 1 brother Shirley (Nette) Gott of Chattanooga,TN., 2 sisters Leola Johnson of Central City and Margie Drake of Chicago, IL., several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation 11:00 AM until time of service. Burial will be in West End Cemetery, Greenville, KY. Bishop Jennifer Carney Officiating. Bibbs Funeral Home in Greenville, KY is in charge of arrangements.

Private services will be Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 1:00 PM at New Immanuel ACOTLG Church in Central City, KY.

Family and friends attending the visitation or funeral service shall be within current health and safety directives/guidelines/ social distancing. Those in attendance are required to wear appropriate protective masks throughout the duration of all services.
