LARRY LEE BARDGREENVILLE, KY., — Larry Lee (LB) Bard, 73, of Greenville passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at his residence in Greenville, KY. He was born on December 22, 1947. The Muhlenberg County native was a member formerly of New Mt Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Depoy, KY. He was employed by Peabody Coal Mines and Cal-Main.            

His parents William E. Bard and Jessie L. Bard, his wife JoAnn Bard, 5 brothers Warren Bard, John Richard Bard, Russell Bard, Clarence Bard, Claude Bard, Roger Bard, 2 sisters Imogene Phipps and Elaine Goins all preceded him in death.

Survivors include 1 son Shawn Bard of Depoy, 3 daughters Katrina Harrison of Madisonville, Joy (T.J.) Hampton of Depoy, Ebony Bard of Central City, several grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 2 sisters Phyllis Boyd of Greenville and Rita Tidwell of Depoy, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.                                                                                                    

Services will be held Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 12:00 Noon at First Missionary Baptist Church in Greenville, KY. Bibbs Funeral Home in Greenville, KY is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation from 10:00 – 12:00 Noon at the church on Saturday.

Burial will be in Old Unity Cemetery in Graham, KY with Rev. John Lee III pastor of First Missionary Baptist Church in Greenville, KY will be presiding over Committal & Interment Services.

Family and friends attending the visitation or funeral service shall be within current health and safety directives/guidelines. Those in attendance are required to wear appropriate protective masks throughout the duration of all services.
