OWENSBORO, KY., — Scott Shauntee, 57, of Owensboro, born January 8, 1961 in Highland Park, IL passed away Monday, January 22, 2018 at the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro. He was a member of St. Stephens in Louisville KY and while living in Owensboro he attended Zion Baptist Missionary Baptist Church. He was employed at the Owensboro Daviess County Hospital, now known as the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.

Those loved ones preceding him in death grandfather Abraham Lincoln Shauntee and a nephew Joshua Logan.

Survivors include mother Carolyn Ann Shauntee Evansville, IN, 2 brothers Steven (Charlene) Lawson of Neptune, New Jersey and Ray Logan of Owensboro, 1 sister Charmin (Tony) Van Leer of Evansville, IN, Daughter Ella Shauntee of Louisville, 2 sons Jeffery Nichols and Justin Nichols both of Owensboro, 1 granddaughter Tiyonna A'Shauntee James, Owensboro, 1 great granddaughter Kaisley James Owensboro, 2 aunts Alvirta (Charles) Taylor of Owensboro, Shirlene Sylvia of North Las Vegas, grandmother Gladys Shauntee of Owensboro, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorial Services are Friday, 11am January 26, 2018 at the Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Owensboro.

IMG 1171GREENVILLE, KY., — Patricia Lynn Reed Pritchett, 58, born June 6, 1959 in Greenville, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at the Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. She was a member of the Wesley Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church, Greenville, KY, and served on the Usher Board. She was employed at both Maple Manor and Poplar Grove Nursing Homes. She also worked on the production line at Purdue.  

Survivors include husband Alan Brent Pritchett, Greenville, 3 daughters Jennie Lynn Reed, Greenville, Samantha (Chris) Louise Johannsen, Central City, KY and Sarah Reed, Greenville, 5 grandchildren Jackson Johannsen and Jase Johannsen, both of Central City, Brooklyn Ray, Julia Ray and Gabriella Ray all of Russellville, 3 brother- in- laws, Oliver Lee Pritchett, Greenville, Ray (Doris) Scott, Depoy, KY, and Connie Pritchett, Baltimore, Maryland, 3 sisters-in-laws Sally Bard, Myrtle Drake and Kay Shelton all of Greenville, a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Memorial Services are Friday, 12noon January 19, 2018 at the Wesley Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Greenville.

 She was preceded in death by her parents Rodney and Priscilla Worthington and 1 sister Justina Martin.   

Survivors include 2 sisters Amanda (Wade Griggs) Martin, Powderly, KY and Dana (Michael) Rose, Pigeonforge, TN, 1 uncle Lawyer Adam (Stephanie) Draper, Winston Salem, NC, grandmother Ruth (James) Draper, Mountainburg, Arkansas, 1 nephew Caleb Webster, Pigeonforge, TN, 1 niece Makenzie Webster Sacramento, KY and 1 cousin Jordan (Michael) Nelson, Nashville, TN.

IMG 3320GREENVILLE, KY., —  David Earl Harbin, 60, born, January 14, 1957 in Greenville, KY passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Saint Mary Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville, KY. While surrounded by his family on November 21, 2017 David took his last breath on earth and took his first breath of eternity with his Lord and Savior.

He was a member of the Wesley Chapel A.ME. Zion Church, Greenville and is presently a member of The New Testament Christian Church, Louisville, KY. He was previously employed at Super Value in Greenville, UPS in Louisville, a miner for Peabody Coal Company and a beloved cook at Shady Cliff in Lake Malone. He graduated from Greenville High School in 1976, where he excelled in basketball and baseball. He was also known by friends as ‘Bear’ and ‘Boo’. In addition, he was an avid sports fan, loved the Cincinnati Reds, and adored the University of Kentucky Basketball Team.

Survivors include 2 sons Jordan (Chelsea) Harbin, and James Harbin both of Greenville, 2 sisters Iva Goins of Greenville and Cynthia Harbin, Louisville, KY, 1 brother Jerome (Shelia) Harbin, Nashville, TN, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Memorial Services are Monday 1pm on November 27, 2017 at Wesley Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church, Greenville, KY. Guest Speaker, Eulogist. Rev. Bativi Combs, Officiating.

Mary DulinDRAKESBORO, KY., — Mary ‘Maggie’ Dulin, 93, born June 23, 1924 in Powderly, KY, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Diversicare of Greenville in Greenville, KY.

She was a member of the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Drakesboro, served on the Mother’s Board, worked in the Culinary Department, taught Sunday School which culminated with the room being named in her honor, and was the oldest member of the church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Dulin, parents Chester Gadson, Florence Bard Gadson, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.   

Survivors include 1 brother Nathaniel (Paulette) Gadson, Greenville, 3 sisters Marvine (Clifford) Clark, Central City, KY, Hilda (Owen) Shultz, Drakesboro, and Earletta Robinson, Drakesboro, a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Special recognition is extended to her Caregivers.

Services are Saturday, 12noon, November 18, 2017, at the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Drakesboro, KY.

Visitation 10am – 12noon at the church on Saturday. Burial in West End Cemetery, Greenville, KY.  Rev. Ricky T. Hill, Eulogist.
